Couldn't finish this one. The characters weren't interesting or engaging, there were annoying mistakes in the book, and the very young and innocent heroine's determination to steal an extremely valuable heirloom emerald necklace back from a rogue who won it in a rigged card game just made her seem TSTL to me.
The cover on this one isn't very attractive either - the guy looks like a plastic mannequin, and is nothing like the description of the hero.

well written, plot was believable, tension between the hero and heroine was palatable, glad the hero admits to his pig-headedness, where his jealously led him to see all of her actions in the worst possible light.
Sarah tries to get back the emeralds her old friend lost in a card game against Captain Kendall by flirting with Kendall and trying to find Kendall's weakness. In the meantime, she catches Lord Ravensby's eye, Ravensby tries his hardest to not fall for Sarah, and mistakes when Sarah was searching Kendall's room as them having a lovers interlude. Eventually Sarah loses a card game against Kendall, Ravensby arrives in time to play another unmarked game and wins. the truth is eventually revealed, HEA
