The Stone Arch reader company seems to know what little boys like.. This is a level 3 reader story with inventor Buzz Beaker who has created a special compound that makes skate speedier. Enough of a story to engage new readers, text on the page seems reasonable for level 3 (very short paragraphs)-- ~Kinder-first grade. There is always a clever/cure end to these books.

I like that Buzz is inventive, but I feel like the use of his latest creation, a paint that makes skis faster, might constitute cheating. Also, I do not condone cruelty to walruses.
