Actually one of the better real estate books I've read. It's dedicated to the purchasing, maintaining, and selling of MULTI-UNIT Apartments (as opposed to single-family homes), and is quite elaborate and informative on the subject.
He does not make it out to be a "Get Rich Quick" idea, which a lot of Real Estate authors do, instead he encourages long-term sound investments, and once again, elaborates on every step of the way.
Nate suggested that I read this so that I could get a better understanding of what he's doing with real estate. The book read like a typical text-book, but it wasn't boring and I understood most of it. The only times my eyes glazed over were during the math equations, but that's nothing new. I had Nate clarify a few things for me, but for the most part, this book is written in an easy-to-understand format.
I first read this book in or around 1990. I loved how his explanations were so well written for a novice to understand. I think I paid around $15 for it. I made $4,000.00 using it about 4 months later. I have since done a lot more. I buy all the updated copies too because of the constantly changing tax laws. It's a fantastic book and tells the truth. Thank you Milt for doing such a great job!
