Canfiel, Hansen, and McCourt filled the pages of this book with paintings that fit perfectly with the stories. The paintings were watercolors that were very smooth and realistic. This fit in well with the stories because it helped fill in the white space. The pages that had the writing were usually around half of the page with medium sized font. The stories can easily be related to children because they could be true stories, yet they are fun topics like a circus, helping people, your favorite toys.

Language Arts

Students use the first story chose a project to help people through service and the final story could be used as show and tell to bring in their favorite toys.
