This is definitely worth reading although it would benefit from a post 2010 update. Warnock’s chapters are very readable and thought-provoking.

I found this book to be extremely beneficial in developing my knowledge of the history of SENs. By this I mean the policies that are present today and those of years ago. Within the book there are talks about the impacts of children with SENs attending inclusive schools vs Special schools. The books main focus is on current and past legislation.

Very good read for anyone interested in the political side of SENs in schools, and not the SENs itself.
