So far so good. I subscribe to the diabetic living magazine and have found the recipes to be easy enough (foolproof for me!) and also very tastey. I've bought this book with the hopes that I can learn some quick and easy meals, that are also healthy. So far, I've tried 3 recipes, and all three have turned out good, and have been easy to make. There's a whole chapter on slow cooker meals, soups, salads, side dishes, breakfast, weeknight cooking, and some others. Each recipe has a full color picture with tips and additional important information. My goal like in Julie Jullia is to cook each recipe in this book!! I would highly recommend it!

This is a mediocre cookbook, but it is an outstanding book on how food affects diabetics. I highly recommend it for that reason.
