This book is so full of information. It answers any question you can think of and then some about getting pregnant fast. There are also plenty of suggestions, such as a slight chsnge in diet, to boost fertility. It's in an easy to read format and I feel like I am more prepared for a pregnancy now! I wish I had actually read it earlier in our TTC phase just to be more prepared.
In the event that laboratory assistance is needed, it describes every process in great detail & recommends who it may be best for. I had NO idea there were so many!
Finally, the author is a Fertility specialist and he gives his contact information at the end of the book! If you are even thinking about getting pregnant, I would DEFINATELY read this book!

Actually read this 2 years ago when I was just starting my latest health journey. Knowing that I had a myriad of issues and not knowing what my fertility journey would be, I thought this book seemed like a basic place to start reading about what that journey might look like as time went on. Um. Yeah. It wasn't my favorite experience. The information is a little outdated, the explanations are shallow, and the writing makes you terrified to even move your left elbow because what if you accidentally spill a vat of chemicals that will permanently damage your body's ability to conceive. A little too much drama and not enough of the heavy and accurate medical information I was looking for. Skip it.

This book was atrocious... It did nothing but bring me down, make me even more anxious than I already am about my ovulating, whether it is happening or not... The things that can hinder ovulation.. the different problems that can happen... The different STD's you can't help.. the hazards of all types of jobs... So, pretty much.. I have to stop losing weight, stop eating food, stop exercising, stop using the computer or walking past the frozen freezer section... Let me count the other fucked up ways I can be infertile, miscarry, or the other ways I can screw up my fetus. God Help Me..... I hate this book.

Kind of terrifying with chapters full of what will make you infertile and cause you to miscarry. I mean, I guess that's good to know, but, geez Louise! Seems like everything from using my computer to eating soy products is going to make me sterile!

Nevertheless, the two page timeline in the back and some of the food stuff seems interesting. The gender selection business (while mostly a load of ****) had a couple of interesting points, too, although pretty irrelevant to me.

A lovely new mom lent me this book, and I can't wait to give it back to her.

This books is AWFUL - it starts with everything that can go wrong, and never seems to recover from there. The advice on preparing your body can be found online at practically every baby site or in books that won't scare you to death.

Do not read this book unless you want to be overly neurotic.

While I'm not looking to get pregnant right now, I do suffer from issues that are fertility related. I was interested in how this book suggested treating issues like mine. I found the provided information to be very good. However, in reading the whole book, it ended up frightening me more than it did enlighten.

This book was a little heavier on fertility treatments than I was expecting or needing, but was still very helpful. I especially appreciated the parts concerning recommended vitamin and nutrition intake.
