This book contained basic optical illusions, many of which I had previously seen. The book would have benefitted from more history about the origins of the illusions.

This book contains hundreds of artistic illusions and is a good introductory book for those who want to learn more about how the eyes can be tricked by art.

Each chapter focuses on specific types of illusions and most of the art is well cited.
