About the author

Formed in 1987 by Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max Smith, DC Talk was one of the most popular bands throughout the 1990's. Together the band has released five studio albums: DC Talk (1989), Nu Thang (1990), Free at Last (1992), Jesus Freak (1995), Supernatural (1998), and Solo (2001). The group unofficially disbanded in 2000, with each member attempting their own solo projects. Ever since, DC Talk has been on hiatus indefinitely, and they have yet to officially break up or reunite.

Read this as part of my devotional time during the first part of the year [2008]. It is phenomonal what we take for granted here in the USA. The back portion of this book will be used for specific targeted prayer.

i never actually finished this book, but i love it i love it i love it for its recognition of jesus freaks. very compelling to read esp when in high school (when i picked it up).

One of my favourite books ever. Learning what people have done to help others around the worl in the name of Jesus makes me feel insignificant at times but this book inspires me to no end. I was and am moved by this collection of stories, I experienced tears of joy, laments of heart ache and moments of complete awe. It is a lot to take in and it will be a while before I read it again but I WILL read it again!

Completely wonderful and inspirational and heart-wrenching Fantastic! Every Jesus freak should definitely read this book. It is good to hear the stories of the modern martyrs, giving everything they have to the glory of God!

These are wonderful testimonies of people who have made great sacrifice for the Christian faith.

This anthology of biographical sketches are interspersed with scriptures and quotes of wellll known Christians.

It's lovely and well worth the read.

Just finished this book, started it a while ago and got distracted. Easy read. Nothing really new in the realm of leading a life with Christian principles in mind.
