Looked into this for ideas to help tame cardio-issues for the in-laws. Meh.
Essentially the most basic and uninspired recipes, and the portions are tiny. Small portions, small fat content.

This compact recipe book seems to be aimed at younger or single cooks, who are keeping an eye on the waistline, with recipes such a broad-bean dip and tuna enchiladas. This is not ideal for those who cook more traditional recipes or those catering for families. As a dieting book, a well known range may offer easier recipes to mums in the kitchen, however the recipes will cater well to younger and more inspirational cooks.

The illustrations are well photographed and make the recipes look appealing. The ingredients are modern too, offering plenty of opportunities to create multicultural dishes. It's relatively cheap too, especially for the amount of recipes it contains.
