Mardie M. Caldwell is an author and speaker who writes about adoption, pregnancy, parenting, business and marketing, infertility, travel, and relationships.

Caldwell has written five books about adoption, including AdoptingOnline.com, Adoption: Your Step-be-Step Guide, The Healthcare Professional’s Guide to Adoption, So I Was Thinking About Adoption..., and Called to Adoption. Adoption: Your Step-by-Step Guide won the iParenting Media Outstanding Book Award and AdoptingOnline.com won the Best First Non Fiction Book of the Year Award by Publishers Weekly and the Benjamin Franklin Award.

In her newest book, Called to Adoption, Caldwell shares her personal experience of adoption and provides help for those interested in creating their own adoption story. Many Christian families, seeing the need to step forward in faith and raise a child not of their bodies, are choosing to learn more about the miracle of families created through adoption.

So I Was Thinking About Adoption... is written specifically for women considering adoption for their children, has received much media attention. It is now considered the finest book of it's kind and is available nationwide.

Additionally, Mardie has written The Healthcare Professionals Adoption Guide, geared toward educating doctors, nurses, social workers, and anyone working with women in the healthcare industry. Many times, these professionals are working directly with women who are making the difficult decisions about their child's future, yet there is little training to bring them up-to-date on the best practices in open adoption. This guide, along with the opportunity for in-service trainings has made a huge difference with adoption education for healthcare professionals.
