Annie Wells needs help. When she's suddenly given a baby to care for, she doesn’t have a clue what to do. She needs someone who knows how to help. Annie turns to Caleb Nanny, hoping he can teach her how to take care of the baby that is now her responsibility.

One look is all it takes for Caleb to know that Annie is a sweet, young woman. She looks so distraught, so he takes pity on her. He agrees to help and it has nothing to do with how sexy her ass looks—or maybe it does. He can't fight his attraction for her.

What started out as a pity job, soon turns into more, and when Caleb tells her that he loves her, he knows he’s gone too far. But what will happen when Annie attempts to give him the memory of a lifetime? Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Mr. Nanny by Sam Crescent is a quick read with plenty of cute moments.

Caleb Nanny (yeah, that’s his last name) is the founder of the nanny agency The Nanny. Annie’s life is in disarray after recently gaining custody of an infant, Tara. When she goes to the agency for help, Caleb decides to become her nanny. Take a shot every time I write the word “nanny.”

First and foremost, I love men who are good with kids. Caleb’s interaction with Tara, while sparse, was adorable.

The attraction between the Caleb and Annie did not translate into their chemistry (which was nonexistent). The novella jumped forward two weeks as soon as Caleb started the job, so we didn’t see much development between them. Even the spice didn’t have much heat.

For a novella, the pacing was slow. It simply did not have time for the angst it was trying to have. Annie’s doubt in Caleb’s seriousness about their relationship didn’t make sense when every single character (especially Caleb) made it clear he was a GONER. It was honestly frustrating after a certain point.

This novella wasn’t my favorite, but I do think I would enjoy other installments in the series.

★★

It is the first book I read in the series and I did enjoy it. Caleb and Annie made such a sweet couple and seemed like a natural fit.

This was a fun, easy to read novella. I liked that for a change the nanny was a guy and he fell first. He didn’t let his past win.

The storyline felt fresh with a plot twist regarding the baby girl and ended with a cute HEA

May I borrow you for a moment or more

I love this brand new twist to a favorite series! As always the characters are phenomenal and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. They have both suffered so much hurt, but with a little patience, and a lot of support from friends who are just like family, the author brought them to their HEA. I enjoyed getting to see that guys suffer the same hurt as the ladies and their souls can be just as sensitive. The author did a fantastic job with this book and I can’t wait to read the next installment.

This book is a total rollercoaster! 🎢 It's got all the feels - from "OMG what do I do with this baby?!" to steamy looks and unexpected love. Our girl Annie's suddenly thrust into mom-mode with zero prep, and in swoops Caleb to save the day. But hold up, things get spicy real quick! 🌶️ The whole "just helping out" sitch turns into a steamy romance faster than you can say "diaper duty." It's like, one minute they're figuring out baby stuff, the next they're catching feelings left and right. Talk about a plot twist! This read's got it all: laughs, tears, and enough sexual tension to power a small city. If you're into rom-coms with a dash of baby drama, this one's gonna hit the spot. 👶💕

Annie had never expected to be the guardian of a newborn especially this newborn, the child of her ex best friend Clara and her ex-fiancé Lionel but that is the situation she has suddenly found herself. With no support she finds herself in need of help and approaches Mr. Nanny. Her desperation is apparent and Caleb Nanny himself offers to help her. It soon becomes clear that she is a natural with her new daughter Tara, but she finds herself wishing that Caleb would stay on. What started as a business arrangement is now so much more but is Annie ready to let someone into her heart again after what happened the last time and is what they feel for one another true love?

Caleb Nanny is a successful business man and he has spent the past few years building a successful nanny company, he has been unlucky in love and has stayed away from any emotional entanglements but the moment that Annie walks into his office he knows that he would do anything to take away the stress she is under and within a few hours he has moved in to her apartment to help her with a newborn baby. Caleb tries not to fall for Annie but both her and Tara have his heart from the moment they meet. Will Caleb be able to show Annie and Tara what real love is, or will he be left broken hearted again?

I am a massive fan of Sam Crescent and although I liked this book very much it felt a little slow to get going and I hate that their previous relationships were brought up every other page. It’s a sweet story and I did enjoy it. 4* Read.

I must admit that this short story isn't my favourite Sam Crescent book, although I liked the characters and I knew that it was a novella I still though that there was a lot missing in the development of the story, having said that, I did enjoy the concept and it does have a lovely HEA.

Author Annie Wells hadn't expected to be left to care for a young baby, the result of very strange circumstances, but Annie loved children and she would love Tara as though she was her own, but Annie didn't know how to care for such a young child.

Caleb Nanny (yes, that is his surname) ran an agency heiring out nannies but for some reason, when the beautiful blond came into his office, not to hire a nanny but to hire someone to teach her how to look after the baby, Caleb was smitten, he decided against his better judgement to take the job himself.

As the story quickly unfolds both Annie and Caleb's troubled backgrounds are uncovered, they quickly become an item but are they doing the right thing ? have they both ditched their pasts or are feelings still lingering ?

I felt a bit sorry for Annie, Caleb had his best friend Ryan and his wife Katherine in his corner making sure that he didn't get his heart broken again but Annie didn't have anyone to support her.

In short, a lovely idea for a story, likable characters, a lovely HEA but gaps that I feel could have been filled even if it was a novella.

ANNIE AND CALEB. Since he owns a nanny business, Annie seeks out Caleb when she unexpectedly finds herself the guardian of a baby girl named Tara. Annie wants to make sure she's being a good parent and doing right by Tara, which I found sweet. And while Caleb doesn't need to since he owns the business, he's attracted to Annie so he takes her on as a client. What Annie has in spades for Tara is love, so Caleb knows A & T are going to be just fine. Caleb turns to helping Annie establish boundaries, especially because she works from home as a writer and published author.

Since he's a live-in nanny, Caleb and Annie quickly get to know each other. Soon they're transitioning into a romantic relationship with some steamy scenes. (Whew! I'm fanning myself). But both proceed with caution. Each person has been burned by previous long-term relationships. Neither ended well.

Caleb's best friend, Ryan, figures into the storyline, as he is Caleb's best friend. They consider each other brothers, and Ryan helped Caleb through a very bad break from relationship mentioned above. Thus, Ryan and Katherine (his wife) are protective of Caleb. It seemed intrusive IMO, but R & K come from a good place. The ending was lovely and unexpected, and I think this book is worth a read!

Not my favorite, I’d say this is more of a 2.5⭐️ than a 3.

Mr Nanny was a quick and easy read, but I felt like it was lacking in areas. The book both dragged on and somehow also took an eternity. It was sad that we didn’t get to see how they’re relationship started once he moved in bc of the time jump that happened right off the bat.

I liked both the Mcs and the supporting characters, but wish we had a little more on them, like their interests outside of work and relationships.

I felt like the chemistry between the mcs wasn’t the best and even the steamy parts didn’t have the passion that I was hoping for. The writing also wasn’t my cup of tea, just in the way that the characters spoke. It was a little too formal for my tastes, but that is a personal preference.

I did like that both characters knew what they wanted and kinda went after it. They knew how they felt about each other and didn’t let public perception effect their actions. They also didn’t have a miscommunication tripe which is always a major plus in my book. I also enjoyed that the friends were so caring albeit a bit overbearing at times.

ARC Review of Mr. Nanny by Sam Crescent
* * * * *
A steamy novella with a curvy author, a hunky tattooed nanny, an adorable baby and drama filled back stories that will bring these lovers together along with their growing love.

Caleb Nanny was focused on running his nanny business and had no plans on dating any time soon after having his heart broken by his ex. That is until Annie Wells walked into his office asking for help. She was a stunning curvy woman in a bit of a predicatment. She has become the guardian of a baby - a child with no other loving connections - and has taken on her new charge with very little knowledge and experience in raising kids.
Not only does Caleb accept in helping her, he will be doing it personally.
Living with her.
Being around her.
Trying to avoid wanting expose his feelings and tight pants.
But both Caleb and Annie hav breaking points. It will just depend on how far that will fall into each other as well.

A boss-man nanny with tats and a dramatic backstory? Yes please. Thankfully his taste in women had improved and he had a great friend to get through it all.
Annie, poor girl, to be thrown a curveball like that from Tara's parents. They are smart in chosing Annie as the guardian but totally nuts too!

This is a short love story; it took me less than two hours to read it.
When Annie Wells is suddenly given a baby to care for, she doesn’t have a clue what to do. She needs someone who knows how to help. Annie turns to Caleb Nanny, hoping he can teach her how to take care of the baby that is now her responsibility. One look is all it takes for Caleb to know that Annie is a sweet, young woman. What started out as a pity job, soon turns into more, and when Caleb tells her that he loves her, he knows he’s gone too far too soon. But what will happen when Annie attempts to give him the memory of a lifetime?
This is funny, super sweet and hot. They are adorable together. Tara, the baby, is so cute. I really enjoy the way he makes her feel treasured and sexy. There are a lot of sexy times, and other enjoyable moments. There’s zero aghast or complications. Just two people falling in love with each other and a baby.

Annie Wells needs help. She is Guardian to an infant and doesn’t know what to do. Caleb Nanny has a successful company in The Nanny. He has men and women trained to help. When Annie walks into his office, he is thunderstruck. He never had an instant attraction to any woman. But she needs his help and he has no problem with the assignment. He’ll help her with what she doesn’t know about taking care of a baby. We all know that taking care of an infant is pretty much learn as you go. There isn’t really a book out there that can give you all the right answers. That is why we all slip now and then. Caleb even tells Annie that no one is perfect. We also learn about why he is so hesitant to jump into a relationship as well as why Annie doesn’t like to take Tara out. Annie’s fears are silly honestly. As he said, just answer honestly and what you feel in your heart. These two seem to just need each other.

Mr. Nanny was a cute novella that was simple and easy to read. Caleb (the nanny) runs and is the founder of a Nanny agency, where Annie (our FMC) goes to for help with her infant daughter. The only part of the book I really loved was Caleb's interactions with Tara because they were so darn cute!

The chemistry felt a little rushed for me and nothing meaningful really developed in this novella. I think it being a novella had a lot to do with it. It's one of those books that should move really quickly, but the pacing of the novel itself was a lot slower than I anticipated. The steam and spice between the two of them was cute but lacked a lot of the usual spice that I read.

For what it was, it was cute and simple. An easy read with really minimal thinking needed to finish it!

This is such a cute story! Picture the usual live-in nanny and boss story, now picture it the other way around and the nanny is a big, blue-eyed, tattooed man! Can you picture it? Caleb Nanny is Mr. Nanny, the owner of a nanny service. One day Annie enters his office, she was entrusted to care for a 6-month-old two days ago and she desperately needs help! Caleb offers to be the live-in nanny for Annie and what starts is a sweet, emotional and spicy story. I love the way they both help each other overcome their insecurities brought on by hurtful pasts. The way they keep doubting the other’s feelings while being sure that they love the other is a great way to make us swoon and keep reading to find the HEA. And that came in the epilogue! I was smiling all the while I was reading that! Such a great way to end Caleb and Annie’s story.

Mr. Nanny
3.5 Stars

Mr. Nanny is the first book I've read in this series. I had no problems diving into this book. It easily stands on its own. This is Caleb and Annie's story.

This book was a fun role reversal, with the nanny being a man instead of a woman. There's nothing hotter than a man caring for a baby.

Caleb Nanny is Mr. Nanny, the owner of a nanny service. Annie enters his office in desperate need of help. She became the caretaker of a 6-month-old quite suddenly and is feeling woefully unprepared. Caleb does something he hasn't done in a while. He offers to be her live-in nanny.

I enjoyed this book! It was a fast, entertaining read for the weekend. The writing is good; the characters are engaging and likable. My only small complaint is I found it too predictable.

I loved Mr. Nanny Book 10 of The Nannies. Annie just inherited a baby after her former best friend and ex-fiancé died. She needs help so she reaches out to Caleb. He owns The Nanny, a company that helps proved nanny’s. Annie doesn’t want a nanny but she need someone to teach her how to care for a baby. Caleb doesn’t know why but he volunteered to do it. They have a spark, a connection but they are employer and employee. What happens when their feelings become more? They both have traumatic pasts to overcome. Can they find a way to be together for the future? This was such a sweet story. I just loved the characters. I was going to be upset if things didn’t work out for them. I would definitely recommend this book.

I love the nanny series and I liked the play on role reversal, with the male as the nanny who owns his own business. I likes that this put both characters on an even playing field, due to the fact that they both had successful careers. My only con about this book was that for me personally I didn't find the male was alpha enough for me, unlike some of this authors previous books but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. I loved how their relationship progressed and they felt more like a family straight away. I like that their wasn't any drama with other people but the author delves into both main characters backgrounds giving you more depth to them and allowing you to feel more towards them, in a way that you feel and understand the emotions of the main characters which also allows you to like them even more! This for me was a nice and smooth romance that is a very satisfying read!.

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️

Publication Date: February 7th 2023

Author: Sam Crescent

Review: I was not expecting this book to be this short. So of course that has its pros and cons. I really enjoyed that it got to the point rather quickly and I was able to finished it in a day, but I also felt like I was missing somethings from the start I felt like I was jumping into a book in the middle of a series, I felt like they writing was suggested that you shoulda l ready know who these people where. I was also just waiting for the ball to drop on something bad to happen like usually but this didn’t really have it. Also loved the Mr nanny aspect it was kind of different

Either way it was a very easy read and fast. I’m looking forward to reading more of @authorsamcrescent

Annie and Caleb have both been hurt by people who should have been loyal and loving enough to never cause them pain. Together they have an amazing connection that develops quickly but takes time for the trust to build for a beautiful relationship.
Sam’s books are always the best- I read them as quickly as possible because I know I won’t be disappointed.

Her plots, dialogue, and characters are well written with lots of spice. Her sex scenes are hot, decadent, and satisfying. Love is evident between her couples and her worlds are places that value friendships. This book has a great epilogue full of family, love, and the future.

I liked the overall premise of this story. A woman named Annie, under mysterious circumstances is the recipient of a newborn baby, that she didn't ask for, nor wants. She has no idea how to care for baby Tara so she seeks professional help from the Mr. Nanny Agency. The owner, Caleb, no longer assigns himself cases until he meets Annie and her (inherited) baby Tara.

He wants to help her and apparently himself to her. Caleb gets hired and he moves in with them and helps Annie navigate the highs and lows of motherhood. As times goes by, Caleb doesn't want to leave—lucky, for him, Annie doesn't have a problem with him staying, it's the possibility of him leaving that has her concerned.

“Hindsight is a good thing when it comes to relationships, isn’t it?”

I wanted to give this book a higher score just because I absolutely adored Caleb. Unfortunately I just couldn’t. He and Annie were pretty much the only redeeming quality in this book. The plot was dull and predictable, there was no real drama anywhere. The bedroom scenes were ok but the rest of the time their wasn’t a lot of chemistry. The editing and continuity were truly dreadful. I have a hard time believing anyone ever proofread read it. Overall the entire thing felt rushed. I usually really like her books but every once in awhile there’s an average one. And this isn’t the worst book she’s ever written. It just isn’t her best.

Annie is left custody of Tara when two people from her past die suddenly. She has no one to help her know what to do to care for Tara so she turns to a nanny company. Caleb owns the company and knows he can't refuse to help her. So, he moves in and sees how she is with Tara. Annie isn't really in need of help just has some anxiety over what she is doing. Sparks fly between them as they work together on making sure Tara is getting what she needs. Will this turn into something more?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I didn’t enjoy this very much. It’s a quick read but Annie and Caleb had no depth or connection. Everything went really easy for them. There was no conflict in this book so also no resolution. They could have added in Annie and Caleb trying to take care of Annie when she’s sick or something to bring them closer together. They were working together for a while but it didn’t talk about that at all.

18+ explicit detail. Spice could have been better- fairly short and quick. I think more emotional connection could have made it better.

Also hard stop when he talked about not banging durning her period, “of course”. What a baby.

This was such a fun read! I really loved seeing Caleb, the owner of the nanny business that Annie went to for parenting help, slowly fall for her. Annie got guardianship of a baby after her parent's were killed. She had zero clue on how to be a good 'mom'. Caleb took pity on her and moved in with her to help teach her the ropes. Of course, Annie needed to feel more confident than anything else and he helped with that. Both of these characters had baggage but together, they learned that love conquers all, giving them a fab HEA. This was a fun read with some great role reversals and I loved the epilogue for that future view of them ;D

An interesting twist on the old nanny/employer trope, with the roles reversed in Annie being the one in need of help after tragedy lands poor baby Tara in her care and Caleb being the one to fill her needs, in every way.

I've read a couple of Sam Crescent books and I this is one of the more tamer ones, but still just as enjoyable. Making it the perfect quick read. It had just the right mix of sexy time and the beginning of a really sweet relationship between them and some needed healing on both sides, zero aghast or complications. Just two people falling fast, in love with each other and a baby.

Annie, the guardian of a new born baby is in need for a nanny to help her with her new life.
I... I always thought when i had a child, i'd know what to deal with, how to handle this , but i just ...it's all a little... it's just too much.

So here comes our Caleb, the nanny !
It was funny, sexy and sad considering their past relationship and trauma.

Check your triggers: Loss of a parent, cheating (not between our main couple) and mention of suicide.

Normally, I am a huge Sam Crescent fan but this one was lacking in chemistry, and was a bit boring. Caleb Nanny, owner of a nanny agency becomes the temporary nanny for the h who unexpectedly becomes responsible for her former best friend and former fiancee's baby after they pass. That alone could be explored but really doesn't translate into angst or anything interesting in terms of plot. There isn't a lot of development between the two characters and their smx scenes fall flat. This one was a miss but most of Crescent's titles are not and I look forward to the next one.

This is the 10th book in this series, and this is Annie and Caleb’s story, When Annie is left to look after a baby girl Tara, when her parents pass away, she is left feeling hopeless, and contacts Caleb for help. Caleb owns “The Nanny” business, and he volunteers to help Annie, when the sparks fly between them. This is a well written story which is sweet, with romance, humor, tragedy, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and spicy page turner.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This was a quick and adorable read. I love the connection between Caleb and Annie and that Caleb knew right away he had feelings for Annie. Guys that know what they want and go for it are amazing. It's such an attractive quality that not a lot of guys have.

I also love that Annie took in Tara as her own, even with the bad history with Tara's parents. That definitely shows how good Annie is with a pure heart.

I'm glad I got the chance to read this novel!
