I kept this book before reviewing for quite some time to see if I would use it a lot, and I definitely did. It's an indispensable companion for cold climate gardeners. For me, it's been hard to find a simple straight forward book that I can refer back to for my area (pacific northwest, zone 8), but this one meets all the criteria. The only thing is I wish it covered more plants, but I guess it wouldn't be so convenient then because there'd be too much to thumb through. 4.5 stars!

This is probably the second most helpful of the cold-climate gardening books I picked up at the library (so far).
