Four ambitious thieves make careful plans to rob the world's richest museum, a plan that involves kidnapping an entire night shift, and a chief of police and that leads to a last-minute slip up
Cronley's novels are on my reading list because I enjoyed the movie Let It Ride, which is based on one of his books. This is a heist story where an audacious plan goes hysterically wrong. Not the funniest book I've ever read, but I did laugh out loud a couple of times. People look at you weird if you laugh out loud while reading a book.
On the heels of the prior novel (Quick Change) it feels derivative, repetitive, and lazy. If you don't read them back to back you'll probably enjoy it better.
