Planet Earth series about the geology and history of gemstone mining.

This book was pretty middle of the road for me. Half of it bored me, like the science behind gemstones at the molecular level. However, Chapter 4 and the stories about rare gems throughout history were interesting to me. I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone but it was a cool vintage book to add to my bookshelf.
