By turns fascinating, frustrating and fucking silly.

Verrrrrrrrrrrrry entrenched with Freudian psychoanalysis, with little movement for it being a big old load of balls (or boobs). I'll never watch Temple of Doom in the same way anyway...

This came out in 1989 and, of course, so much has happened since that many of the analogies could be replaced by stuff that's far more meaningful. This guy HATES Labour and Sartre btw.

Hates them.

I did read some interesting stuff though, particularly regarding sibling hatreds, familial pressures and the insight into nationalism was particularly interesting.

Nationalism is to the state as narcissism is to the individual. Difficult to argue with that.
