Condom Nation: Blind Faith, Bad Science

The fact that an untested prevention strategy is being advocated doesn't bother them. Why should it? It replaces Sexcual Victorianism with "Sexual Pluralism." Mission accomplished. Who cares if it works? The Condom Nation is nothing if not slick. In a world of latex, content can be be replaced by style, by "cool." Questions about content are covered over by packaging, by labels, like "abstinence-based," which mean the opposite of what is implied. Words that once hasd clear meanings are made to serve whatever purpose the reigning ideology of sexual "diversity" demands. Words that cannot be reengineered are banished and replaced by nice-sounding terms that obscure the original meanings. Studies are said to support the exact opposite of what they conclude. Much of the public is lulled into feeling of complacency by termsl like "protected sex," assisted by a docile, cooperative mainstream media that often follows a "don't ask, don't tell" policy when it comes to government proclamations of "fact." Parents and groups who question content are vilified, forever banished outside the great latex wall that surrounds government-approved arbiters of reality.

Richard A. Panzer, Ph.D., is the founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Relationship Intelligence, Inc. A public speaker and developer of family life educational programs, he has spoken to health educators, social workers, parents’ and community groups all over the U.S., and in Beijing, Antigua, Trinidad, Montreal, Toronto, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Paris, Prague, Seoul, Sydney, Okinawa, Osaka, and Tokyo.



Dr. Panzer is the author of the Free Teens HIV/AIDS, STDs, and Pregnancy Prevention program, founded in 1989 and which exists in ten languages. Richard Panzer is also the author of the Relationship Intelligence curriculum. In an evaluation by the Institute for American Values, the RI curriculum was selected as one of the top three marriage curricula in the country, stating: “Relationship Intelligence provides a clear marriage vision, portraying marriage as the key to personal growth in love, intimacy, and sexual satisfaction.”

In 2009, Dr. Panzer co-authored The War on Intimacy: how agenda –driven sex ed sabotages committed relationships and our nation’s health. This book was endorsed by Professor Robert George at Princeton U., Dr. Ted Green at the AIDS Prevention Research Project at the Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Thomas Lickona, author of Character Matters, Dr. Joseph McIlhaney, founder of The Medical Institute for Sexual Health & Dr. Paul Vitz, Senior Scholar at the Institute for Psychological Sciences.
Richard Panzer also co-authored a children’s book called Mommy, Daddy, Where Do Babies Come From? read by Dr. Laura Schlessinger on her national radio program, the Real Deal on Love, Relationships, and Marriage documentary video/DVD in 2005, the Lovesmart DVD in 2007 and the CultureMachine iMagazine CD-ROM in 2008.

Dr. Panzer has been interviewed on dozens of radio stations nationwide, the Standard News and USA Radio Network, the nationally syndicated Newstalk Television show on teen pregnancies and letters published in the New York Times, Journal of the American Medical Association, and other publications. Free Teens activities have been reported on in Newsweek magazine, the Star-Ledger, Herald News, The Record, Miami Herald and other newspapers.

He has spoken on several college campuses including UC Berkeley, Mercy College, Hofstra University, Mount St. Mary’s College, the State University of New York at New Paltz, Yale University, the University of Texas in Austin, the University of Maryland, and San Francisco State University. A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Panzer is married and the father of 4 children. His doctorate is in the field of Educational Communication and Technology from New York University.

انحدرت المجتمعات الغربية بصورة عامة، والمجتمع الأمريكي بصفة خاصة، في هوة سحيقة من التفسخ الأخلاقي، والانحلال الجنسي العارم، وفي ظل هذه الفوضى اللاأخلاقية تبرز بعض الأصوات الإيجابية التي تحاول إنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه من حطام الفضيلة "الفيكتورية" ، وتصارع في مواجهة تيار الإباحية؛ التي تحاول كسب مزيد من أصوات المراهقين والمراهقات الجدد؛ وذلك عن طريق ترويج بضاعتهم وتجارتهم من خلال مصطلحات وهمية كاذبة من أمثلة "الجنس الآمن عن طريق الواقي الذكري".
يحاول الدكتور ريتشار بانزر في كتابه بيان أكذوبة مشروع "الجنس الآمن" الذي تعتمد عليه الحكومة الأمريكية في سبيل مكافحة مرض الإيدز، حيث بدأت في تعميم التعليم الجنسي "الشمولي" في المدارس بين المراهقين للحد من معدلات الإصابة بالأمراض التناسلية جراء الممارسات الجنسية المتفشية، يقول "بانزر" في مقدمة كتابه مدللًا على التجارة بأخلاقيات المراهقين من خلال قطعة من المطاط ومصطلح من كلمتين خادعتين، ومتباينتين كل التباين: "يقال إن شخصية الإنسان الحقيقية تظهر فقط في مواجهة الأزمات، فماذا عن شخصية ثقافة مجتمع بأكمله؟ إنه لحقيقة بديهية أن من يمتلك أدوات اللغة يستطيع التحكم في مسار التفكير؛ بهذا المنطق؛ فإن من اخترع مصطلح "الجنس الآمن" أو بدائله "الجنس الأكثر أمنًا " أو "الجنس المحمي" لم يكن مجرد مدير تسويق عبقري بل إنه استطاع إعادة هيكلة ثقافة المجتمع بأثره وفق رؤيته الشخصية، فالجمع بين كلمة "آمن" كلفظ واضح يدعو بثقة إلى عودة الطمأنينة، وكلمة "جنس" بما تمثله من عشرات المعاني الضمنية والتعقيدات وما تحماه من انعكاسات للمآسي، بكل ذلك يأتينا المصطلح الجديد "الجنس الآمن" ليقودنا إلى التصديق بأن جميع مشكلاتنا قد حلت بالفعل، فبهذا التضمين البلاغي الرائع بين كلمتين تم إعادة الطمأنينة إلي عقولنا جميعًا، تأملها وأنت تتنفسها ببطء: "جنس..آمن"!"؛ صـ4.
يشمل الكتاب عشرين فصلًا مقسمة على جزئين رئيسين: الجزء الأول بعنوان: الاصطدام بجمتمع الكوندوم، ويبرز فيه الكاتب أمثلة - مما عاصره من خلال عمله في مجال التوعية التربوية ضد مرض الإيدز- لعملية تسييس التوجه القومي الأمريكي لمكافحة الإيدز، وعملية توجيهه بواسطة التيارات الليبرالية المنحلة نحو الفوضى الجنسية، وذلك لخدمة مصالح خاصة لأشخاص يتحكمون في كم هائل من الاعتمادات المالية الحكومية والخاصة التي توفرها الحكومة لهذه البرامج التربوية الخادعة، أما الجزء الثاني فيحمل عنوان "معارك فكرية في مجتمع الكوندوم" ويحلل فيه الكاتب النظريات التربوية المختلفة والتوجهات الفكرية التي تعمل على مكافحة مرض "الإيدز"، والتي يتم استثمارها في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، والفرضيات الفلسفية التي تتعلق بجزئيات كل منها، وما سجلته من نتائج سواء كانت نجاحات أو إخفاقات في هذه المهمة.
