This is a gorgeous book. The art is awe inspiring to view. I love Wyland’s whale paintings and sculptures. There are plenty of color photographs of them in here. And also biographical information about this “environmental artist” and his work for conservation and the environment, and even some cartoons and “marine art humor.” A lovely coffee table book but with some substance.

This was interesting. I didn't realize that the whaling wall in Laguna Beach was Wyland's first mural on the side of a building. I also didn't know that he had so many murals around the world. A beautiful book.
