This book is great. You know the rule never judge a book by its cover? This book is the best example of that I have ever seen. The cover of this book looks like its going to be a hard intense just power lifting book. That is not the case at all! It gives amazing information on how to be just healthy in general without having to ever pick up weight. Contrary to my lat sentence, it also gives incredible information on how to correctly use weights and how not to abuse anything. The system they have in the book is pretty fantastic as well. There are different steps for a healthy body, but if the reader thinks that he/she is already past that they can go to a farther into the book. Even though it says 'men's health hard body' this is easily usable for women as well. I searched for a good amount of time to try to find a book that talked about supplements AND working. This is one of the only few books that I found.

This book was very helpful in learning about more about my passion. I also plan on actually do the 12 week program over the summer.

Very good book with loads of quality information that would correct a lot of misleading and wrong information for anyone who hit gym and on a diet

This book is great not only for learning how to get in shape but how the body works to get into shape. I read it when I was a beginner in body building and in one summer I got into incredible shape after learning from it. If your a beginner read this book and use it all the time for working out. I still use it today for workouts and to read what I highlighted. If your already adept though, then go for something a little more in depth and advanced. This is still for all levels of fitness, just better for those who don't know how fitness works.

All-in-all, taken everything into account (that I am a female bodied person), this book was pretty good. I did learn quite a few things about lifting and power-lifting, and as a vegetarian what supplements to use and things I need to help build muscle. It wasn't as relevant to me, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment or it's usefulness (Especially to someone else).

My wife loves this book and uses it as a part of her regiment.

So ymmv.
