This book is a very religious, Christian book, but once you get used to that aspect of it, I loved the ideas and found it very helpful in my marriage. I will definately read it over and over.

This is a generalization of how husbands and wives are.

This husband and wife counselor team spoke at my church (Grace Community in Spring Hill) about a year ago during a family building weekend. Really enjoyed hearing them speak and bought a couple of their books. Finally got around to reading one, and liked it 3-stars worth. It's a little strong on narrative (the full description of the drive to the meeting place, what they ate, etc.) before they get to the actual conversation/counseling portion that we learn from. The content's not necessarily ground-breaking (don't gossip about your husband, respect him, etc.) but I did like the fresh, personal delivery.

This book has been nothing but a reflection in the mirror for me. I recommend all wives to read this esp the newly weds better sooner than later. Reading this is hiven me a change of heart although I have more changes that need to be made in me. I could relate to most of the women in each chapter. So thankful this book, it's helped me so much. If you are wondering if you should purchase this book or not the answer to you is buy it you will not be disappointed!
