Excellent book, well-written and very enjoyable. This book covers a great deal of historical territory which doesn't allow for long lapses from the book, however, I learned history that was never covered in school and very applicable to today's political and social climate. The author demonstrates extensive research as evidenced through his vast references. This book is for serious readers and critical thinkers.
