I own three books on names which I use for genealogy and naming my pets, of them this is my least favorite. It is a relatively thin book of 233 pages, which combines male and female names in one list. This definitely consolidates the total number and avoids duplication but still it does not seem to have as many names as larger naming books. Each entry generally gives the meaning, geographical origins and other forms of the name.
