Great read aloud version of the myths, that links them all together nicely.

A simple yet elegant book, containing about 30 stories, that provide an exciting introduction to almost all the major Greek Gods and Heroes.I found the authors thoughts on the how the story relates to life an excellent way to relate to the stories.

The only concern is that some of the names are Roman, so there might be some confusion for those who already know some of these stories, but the author does explain why he uses them and what their Greek equivalent are.

I really don't like the storytelling style because he is in first person a lot. I don't care for the fact that he keeps talking about Ancient Greece but uses the Roman names for the gods.

I do think he writes a fairly age-appropriate retelling of the Greek/Roman mythology from the Titans to the Odyssey. It's really good for teaching. It's just not my taste.
