Despite my utter dislike for much of his work (though some of it, especially early stuff is pretty interesting), I was indeed saddened when my copy was irretrievably damaged by leaking ductwork in my 60s modernist high-rise apartment. The building didn't like him (nor Irving Gill) much either.
