It was all so meh. Too short to hook in the reader and capture my attention. And it took too long for the characters to figure out the obvious.

Mary Higgins Clark is the master of introducing new suspects so that it is imposible to guess who the murderer is. Love it.

I was fine with the length but the writing style is not for me.

Not much depth of characters in this book. It was an e-book and it felt like the mystery was over in like a blink of an eye. Not sure why the last few books I read by this author seem wet noodlish. Like the author was distracted or trying to push a story that just was not there.
