Another good book in this series, with the second brother Wyatt now being the hero. While his sister's kidnapping led to Gage joining the FBI, Wyatt turned to writing, in order to understand the psyche of those who commit crimes. His next story is one the heroine's brother, a cop convicted of murdering his girlfriend and her mother.

The heroine believes in her brother's innocence even if no-one does and at first knowing the hero wanted to write about her mother, made her angry but then she saw th

Ripples lead to waves lead to events that change lives

As a mystery that has lots of twists and turns this novel is first rate. As a romance it is interesting, but I am a little tired of reading about men who won't voice their feelings . The best thing about this novel, in my opinion, is the way the events in people's lives interlock and bring resolution to long-standing events and tie people together when they start not knowing of a connection. After her brother is convicted of murdering his girlfriend and his unborn child, Taylor Bradshaw refuses to believe he is guilty and turns to crime writer Wyatt McKinnon to prove his innocence. A story were a conviction looks like it will never be turned over. Clue after clue brings Tay closer to her death as well as her bothers. Its only when she teams up with Wyatt that things begin to happen... both with her brothers case and with her heart. 5 stars.

I'm not one of those people who knew from birth she was destined to become a writer. I always loved to read and throughout my childhood I could usually be found with a book in my hands. To the disgust of my friends, I even enjoyed creative writing assignments that made them all groan. But I had other dreams besides writing. I wanted to be an actress or a teacher or a lawyer.
