I've read a lot of books on classical and Christian education as well as on homeschooling and some on both combined. This was a pretty brief discussion on why and how dad's ought to lead in their family's homeschooling efforts and not leave things all up to mom. I would give it a 2.5 stars if I could. If fathers and husbands use this book as in intro to the subject, as I believe the author intends, and follow it up with more substantial material on the hows and whys and whats, then good. As you might guess from the title, this book is focused on encouraging homeschool fathers to invest in their children and take an active role in the family's homeschool endeavors. For a non-Christian or non-homeschooling family, there is likely much you would disagree with here. In fact, even as a Christian, I felt that several of the author's points may have been over-reaching their scriptural basis.
