When her fantasy becomes a reality Hope has to resist Jake—her new boss —even more!
But the irresistible doctor is more than he seems. Behind all Jake's arrogance and ambition? A hardscrabble childhood on the streets. And the very real truth that he'll do anything to mend—and win—the heart of his favorite nurse.

What would have been a good storyline is completely overshadowed by the use of rhetorical devices used every other phrase. After reading three of this author's books, and finding them all exactly the same, I find no reason to read any other books by this author.
4 1/2 stars... This is the first Teresa Southwick I've read and I plan on reading more. As an ER nurse, I was impressed with the attention to detail that was used to describe the scene without any of the true gore that's out there. Hope and Jake were a joy to read and fall in love with.
