《新时空粤语(下册)》收罗一些粤语地区人民大众常说常用、喜闻乐见的生活语料，使这套教材尽可能符合“从应用中来，到应用中去”的精神。据读者和出版社反馈回来的意见，已出版的上册之所以受到普遍的欢迎，主要一点正是我们比较重视结合实际，教材每一课的内容都能贴近粤方言区的现实生活，例句和短文也颇具“生动有趣”的特色。我想，此书既然定名为“新时空”的粤语，我们就没有理由不在结合现实应用、贴近日常生活上多下工夫。我们的指导思想是十分明确的。
