Kiki Swinson was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She discovered her flair for writing after completing her first novel, Mad Shambles, while serving a five-year sentence at a federal prison.
After being released in December 1996, Kiki later went on to self-publish Mad Shambles. Her passion for writing didn't stop there. Writing feverishly into the wee hours of the night, she completed her second novel, Wifey, which was published by Melodrama Publishing. After the success of Wifey, Kiki penned the sequels I'm Still Wifey and Life After Wifey, as well as The Candy Shop and A Sticky Situation.

I waited all this time to read this book and it was fair. They had cops and everyone trying to kill this poor girl for this Bishop dude. Lynise stayed in trouble she wanted to help but was scared at the same time. She finally gets away only to end up in the taxi of a serial killing . This girls luck is so bad it’s real is.

The grammatical and spelling errors in this book are what I would expect from my 11 yr old, not a book that should have went through editing.

This book was total trash. This series just got worse as it went along. Save you money and skip this garbage. I'm officially done with this series.

Wow the drama in this book happened from the very first page. I found myself taking breaks from but it was so good. Lynise can get annoying at times but this series is getting pretty interesting. Trouble seems to find her everywhere she goes and from the people get close to. Im gonna continue this series to see what happens next since she escaped the safe house

More drama, more drama! Lynise is starting to get on my nerves with whining. She has now decided to escape. On to book 5.

I'm getting aggravated with this series, I felt nothing happen that was relevant to the story. I fell like the series is being dragged out.

The book was okay. It was like reading a short story but the ending suggests there will be a sequel.
