The Proverbs 31 Woman: A Study Aid

Rate this book
The passage of Proverbs 31, particularly verses 10 through 31, is an excellent instructive Scripture for men and women preparing for marriage and ministry. It is a queen’s description of a wife fit for her son, King Lemuel. The woman she describes is strong, full of character and substance, informed, confident, well-rounded, rooted in the Word, and has a strong personal relationship with God.

The Proverbs 31 Woman focuses on the characteristics and roles of this godly woman and provides insights for both men and women today. It does not teach according to the world’s wisdom but by the Word of God. This queen’s perspective of a godly woman reveals that God’s children need royal characters in order to be fit for His royal mates.

Lots of really dated, surface-level biblical interpretation. Some of the verses used to support the information are totally taken out of context to provide a patriarchal viewpoint. Not recommended.
