To make a quilt like the one on the cover of this book is a goal to which I aspire. Vibrant, moving the eyes of the beholder around its surface, and colorful this quilt is very beautiful to me. Almost all the other quilts in this book are also lovely to me. I think the book probably holds the key to why the many quilts I have made (even the ones I consider my best), don’t have the same impact on me. It makes me hopeful I can continue to grow in my artistic abilities. Knowing how successful scrap quilts are made and being able to make use of that knowledge remains to be seen. It will be fun trying.
