Rate this book
Over the past few years, recycling has become a way of life in many households. More and more people are becoming aware that it is vitally important to recycle products; and with increased facilities now available, this is easier now to put into practice. This book provides a thoughtful look at environmentally conscious sewing and shows that no one need ever throw out a scrap of fabric or article of worn out clothing. Packed with innovative ideas, this book contains a number of projects showing you many different ways of recycling old clothes. You will learn how to make reusable bags and nappies, turn adult garments into children's clothing, embellish and decorate using buttons, reuse denim, suede and even men's ties.

A few useful ideas and tips. Several projects are dated (fancy 80's style vest, anyone?) but some could be tweaked for a current look. Appreciate the book's theme of recycling to create projects.
