Because I am a person who prepares for Christmas throughout the year, I found this book to have some different recipes that I hadn't seen before. I have on my planner to try the Ham & Swiss Cheese Rolls, the Glazed Kielbasa Bites, and the Christmas Eve Soup for Christmas Eve because they look easy to make and will make that day a little more carefree as I'm trying to finalize the Christmas day events. For Christmas I think the Peppermint Punch and the Seafood Pinwheels will add to the ease of the day. But then again the Christmas Crunch looks yummy as well.

FINALLY! A Gooseberry cookbook with actual PICTURES of the recipes. Shame the recipes are mostly meh. Not really inspired by any of them, which is unusual for me when it comes to Gooseberry. Better luck with the next one, I guess.

I fell in love with the recipes from Gooseberry Patch when I watched a video on YouTube. That recipe was for their version of white chicken chili. It sounded so good that I patiently started and stopped the video until I got the full recipe. I made it that night and I loved it. My husband loved it. He begs me to make it at least once a week. So, when I saw their cookbooks were available through my local library's Libby program, I jumped at the chance to spend some time with one. I wasn't disappointed in this cookbook. I've found multiple recipes to try for entrees, sides, soups, candy, and other desserts. I can't wait to try them. And, I will be borrowing other Gooseberry Farms cookbooks!
