It took us 9 weeks to get through this but we did it! I read the left pages and 6yo read the right pages. This is actually a great way to learn to read new vocabulary.

this book is part of the "We Both Read" series which I really like. The parent/grownup reads the left page and then the child reads this page on the right side. If there are any new "hard" words introduced, they are bolded on the parent's page. I really like it for reading with my kids--that way I can check in from time to time that they are actually reading what is on the page. Endangered animals was good--it gave an overview of the whole situation and offered small solutions that kids could actually incorporate into their daily lives.

This book is great. It has great pictures and it is very informative about animals in the book. This book also has sections for grown up to read and then the child can read the other page. It has certain words that are bold for the parent’s side to read. It’s sad how a few animals are becoming extinct, but there are laws now to protect these animals so they will not become extinct.
