200 pages of thought-provoking one (or two) liners that, although orientated to dancers, seemed to me very applicable to other performing arts.

By times I liked it, by times it felt too telegraphic. A machine gun of not-completely-related ideas that say everything and the opposite (good reminder of how subjective creative processes can be, by the way).

It goes by themes (lights, collaboration, marketplace, etc) and that makes it very easy to explore.

Full of inspiring tidbits. I'm sure I will be flipping through this often. I love that the answer to all questions is "it depends" and the general principle is to keep working. And it's all work.
