You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows

You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows The overriding consideration in answering these questions is that the main struggle going on in the world today is between US imperialism and the national liberation struggles against it. This is essential in defining political matters in the whole because it is by far the most powerful, every other empire, and petty dictator is in the long run dependent on US imperialism, which has unified, allied with, and defended all of the reactionary forces of the whole world. Thus, in considering every other force or phenomenon, from Soviet imperialism or Israeli imperialism to "workers struggle" in France or Czechoslovakia, we determine who are our friends and who are our enemies according to whether they help US imperialism or fight to defeat it.

Important historical text to understand the New Left.

Argues that:
US imperialism is the underlying force of capitalist exploitation and, thus, is the common enemy to all liberatory struggles,
there is no united front with the petite bourgeoisie (revolution does not come in 2 steps),
the vanguard of the proletariat revolution are the exploited people of the 3rd world,
the oppression of Black people within the US is to be construed as the exploitation of a colony,
imperialists are forced to compensate internally when external colonies are lost,
briefly outlines white privilege & the explains the white reactionary tendency (paid off by white privileged) but nonetheless maintains many white people have a conscious advantage in supporting Black liberation & a communist revolution,
anti-international struggles are silly,
younger people have a special position in being able to accept radical communist ideas,
a 60s optimism: "people no longer merely want the plastic '50s
restored, but glimpse an alternative (like inside the Columbia
buildings) and begin to fight for it.",
the way to convince people is relating their material issues to imperialism - it cannot be a lofty abstract concept, it must be stressed that it is felt everyday -, convert issues --> action,
we must tie the domestic struggles of the working-class to those of people in the third world,
a "multi-issue" movement <-- everything is interlinked,
the party is not a substitute for the movement, it is, in fact, totally dependent on it.

Recommended by Glenn Beck as the Weather Underground's manifesto of what's happening today (2010)- their plan is to intentionally collapse the American economy & political system toward global governance making the U.S. Constitution irrelevant! Those currently appointed & elected to the White House administration are closely following this Progressive agenda & at an alarming speed of "fundamental transformation". Quite eye-opening, revealing, & extremely important!

This is some scary stuff. Read on the recommendation of Glenn Beck. He believes (and I think he is absolutely right) that this is the blueprint the President Obama is following.
