This book had been on my Kindle for several years so I finally started reading it a few nights ago. I couldn't finish it. All the things were either common sense or just plain dumb. Over half were probably darn near impossible in a normal person's life. How does "Read the Koren" make the list but "Read the Bible" doesn't. And there was something about...when your child is board or angry -- have them eat. Seriously?? That's our country's problem with obesity is eating out of boredom. I even read that one twice to be sure I read it right.

Maybe some folks would get something out of this book but I sure didn't.

Here's my advice...be sure your kids are educated and know how to cook and clean. Then turn their room into an office. That's how to be sure they leave home. The end.

This book tell parents what there childeren should see and so befor they wil never leave home. My favorite was: They most know God is with them at all times. My 2nd favorite was: They must know you love them. The on i hated was: They must fly.

Reading this as a 20-something adult, I realized how much my parents did and sacrificed for my upbringing (thank you Mom and Dad), in addition to how much more growing up I've got to do on my own.
An excellent read even if you don't have kids of your own :)
