2020 reread. I've had this book for well over a decade lol I read it before I had a Goodreads account and decided to revisit it. It's escaped many a book cull I do to keep numbers at a good level.
Eric was blunt and maybe played himself off in the best light and needed his own self reflection. Lana was as I imagined her. Gorgeous. Jittery. I'm her own head and vain vain vain. If have been vain too tho.
The whole bible pushing element of it I didn't enjoy. Everyone has their own beliefs .
This was painfully boring to get through. It was the audio version and the author read. In many places it sounded like a 7 year old reading aloud. I’m ashamed to even admit that I stuck with it until the end.
This is the send book I read about Lana Turner, written by a former employee. This is written by her personal hairstylist. She seems a very vain Woman. I shall read her autobiography later.
The author tells a very interesting tale about his life with one of the most famous and 'broken' woman of the time. Loved by all but running from the demons of her past. Absolutely fascinating!
