Nope, still one of the best manga series currently being released in English. Yup. I love it. I love the politics, the science, the character arcs, the plot lines, the action, the screwed-up relationships, Elijah's face, the fact that sex workers aren't dehumanized, the awesome future tech, the dark humor, everything. There's also a lot of great artwork in this volume. And naked people (just saying).

Blargh, I can't remember any of the character names/backgrounds since the last volume, and the stories were hard to get into. The series seems to be getting further away from the sci-fi elements I like in vol.1 as well.

"Eden" has now stabilized into a fast moving tale of survival, politics and the human condition. Volume 7 isn't quite as perfect as its immediate predecessor, but it’s still a strong addition to a saga that might be headed somewhere great.

The development of Elijah into a cold blooded killer leaves me with no character to cheer for in this series. Perhaps that's the theme of this series, that the world is a cold heartless place and we do anything to get what we want but that is too unappetising to keep me going for much longer.

本集是「佩德勒之章」,或「佩德勒的愛情故事」,這部段子的大反派搖身一變成了有故事的主角,看著實在教人很不習慣。

The best volume of the series, though the payoff and characterization gets a little shaky as Elijah continues down a dark and complex morally questionable path.
