While most Western incense how-to books take a pagan stance, this one is at least different in approaching from an energy healing/ Rosicrucian standpoint. Some of the meditations and incense combinations sound worth trying, though the "correspondences" and "fragrance messages" of each of the plants are too individual/subjective. I did like the little plant index, which contained some plants I'd never seen listed in other books.

This book was easy to follow with a great description of each incense, including a lot of resins. There are also multiple rituals explained. One of the better ones I've seen on incense.
