The Power of a New Attitude
If my heart's in the right place, why do I keep getting hurt?" "When I want so badly to succeed, why am I so often disappointed?" Dr. Alan E. Nelson answers these questions and more in this truth-filled book. Nelson says that many of us are our own worst enemy--without even knowing it. He helps readers recognize nineteen behaviors that sabotage all their best efforts, including negativity, being hung up on the past, dependency on others for a sense of self-worth, and much more. Then he takes readers beyond self-evaluation to real and lasting change to help them achieve their goals and live the successful lives they long for.

The book tells you some harsh truths which is fitting as it is aimed at people who have unhealthy behavitudes. As the author is a pastor, he basically tells us to read bible and most of our life problems will be solved.

I find the book helpful. I definitely got a clearer view on things now. As I read the book, I see myself in the examples and realized I truly need to get a NEW ATTITUDE in order to succeed in my career, relationships and life itself.

this book is very useful.....but every topic is bit long...in the beginning of every chapter, you feel refreshing, but as the topic continues, you get tired..... it's actually a useful book.... try reading once..

Magnificent in its compilation! The author must've had the wisdom to write it full well - from the roots of an intrapersonally struggling individual to overlying solutions and conclusion suggesting growth and development. Every page is indeed worth reading!
