Definitely wish this book had more information about Indigenous history throughout. It was mentioned early on in a separate section but not enough info about the impact and realities for native people after white folks showed up and colonized their land.

I've read Books 1 and 2 (contained in Vol. 1) and am moving on for now, but planning to read 3 and 4 before returning to the UP and Lake Superior region. Lots of information but mostly of local interest. Certainly not light reading!
