Massive encyclopedia-format collection of everything written about JTR (the purportedly factual material at least), every suspect, every theory, and apparently anyone who was ever mentioned in the case files for any reason. AND their relatives. A tremendous resource.

A rather dry but fascinating guide to Jack the Ripper. I learned quite a few things I wasn't aware of. It was a bit of a disappointment that the Kindle addition doesn't include photos although many were published before. A great reference guide.

Superb volume very comprehensive and extensive information on the ripper case. Not for the casual reader, this is 580 page tome which at the time of printing (2010) was right up to date. Very detailed, this makes for excellent reference material by the experts in the field Begg, Fido and Skinner. Brilliant book.

What a frightening read. There was so much evidence, and yet they still do not know for certain who he was.

Nothing I didn't already know at this point, but still, I can't fault the authors for going into more detail than what is usually given in the typical documentaries on television.

One of only handful of Ripper books that can be called truly indispensable.
