What an absolutely stunning conclusion Cheyenne McCray has penned for her ‘Magic’ series. “Dark Magic” is everything I would have wished for and couldn’t have imagined! This series has everything a paranormal fan could want: Dark Elves, Light Elves, witches, familiars, warlocks, gods, goddesses, shape-shifters, demons, warriors, humans, Dryads, Mistwalkers, and monsters. I probably left something or somebody out too! And did I forget to mention t

#5 Magic PNR series

I enjoy this author's books and Dark Magic was enjoyable and well written.

I quit reading early on, not because of the writing, but because magic and witches and two themes that just don't grab my interest.

I love the winged warriors ;-).

Fantastic Conclusion to a Phenomenal Adult Fae Series!,

This was the last installment to Cheyenne's Magic Series. I enjoyed this installment, even though it was somewhat predictable. This story focuses on Cassia, the D'Anu witch, whose past has been a mystery from the beginning. Cassia, Jake McGregor and the rest of his special forces unit, the Drows, Tuatha D'Danann Warriors, Mystwalkers, earth-bound fae, the rest of the D'Anu coven and a last minute addition to the Alliance, The Light Elves, a

the choice cassia made sucked IMO and that ruined an otherwise good book for me

Book number 5 and the final book in the Magic series. This book was so packed with information that I had to thoroughly read every page and it took FOREVER to finish it! At least it felt like forever. This book mainly deals with Cassia and Jake but it also wraps up everyone's story and concludes the series. I can't say anything without giving something away. It's typical of the series so there's porn here but significantly less than previously, or maybe I just skipped over it to get back to the ...more

a decent smut-read but not overly impressed with the writing. like many book series where each book focusses on a different person from the same world, it's ladden with unnecessary descriptions of ALL the characters facial expressions, hairstyles, the build of their body and background stories. And as far as I can tell from the blurb of her other series, the author has a series fascination of the "t-shirt and jeans - no bra" getup. personally I know very few women who would ever choose that getu ...more

It was a very good book that kept you on your toes. You had a feeling what would happen but you wanted a different outcome. I never really liked Cassia until this book and she's great. She's this fragile princess but she's comes out being this strong and in control woman. It's great. I also loved hearing what happened to the rest of the witches and their families. It's a good ending to a pretty crazy series!

I guess it's good for me that this book is 5 and the end. I read them but honestly, it didn't do much for me which is odd since I really enjoy all the different magical/mythical creatures. Not a bad book, just didn't hold my interest.

This finished up the series. I'm a little disappointed in the ending. It was typical of all other romances. Everything thrown together to make it fit.

A very well done conclusion to a series that has been very enjoyable! I love when a story arc is achieved and everything is tied up in a very satisfying ending.

In her spare time she loves to torture characters—whether they’re misbehaving or not—and kill off deserving individuals. She also totally gets off on blowing things up. All fictionally, of course. She’d rather chew glass th
