Great science book for young children. Two young kids, Emma and Owen are both excited about spring. They both go outside to the local park and play and the story goes on a science journey from there. Emerson puts in a few science fun facts for the reader throughout the pages of the story. This book introduces new vocabulary words for children about science and nature. The story makes learning about nature fun and exciting.

I would recommend this book for 1st and 2nd grade readers. This book is about two friends and their special friend, Old Oak. The book gives students an explaination of how all living things things become busy in the spring. I would read this book while teaching about the seasons and living things. I would also use this book to illustrate changes in the weather and animals.
