The book I decided to read was High-Performance Options Trading:
High-Performance Options Trading is an excellent book with a large amount of information. The book tells the ins and outs of options trading and gives real-world examples to help understand it better. It was was a very complicated and challenging book to read, so I had to read things multiple times, but I think that is a good thing since it kind of forces you to read it multiple times, sticking the things you learn into your brain. The author writes the book in an informative yet capturing way to keep you interested in the book. The author has also been trading options for quite some time to know that they know what they are doing. This book was most definitely life-changing.
How has this book changed me?
The knowledge I gained from this book is most definitely life-changing. Many people don’t know about options and how they work, and I think I am very fortunate to know the things that I learned from it. I think that I learned what will help me economically and socially. I believe that I have become a smarter person after reading this book. I believe that I went outside of my comfort zone with Lexile level with this book and it has made me a smarter reader. I can now read more complicated books because of this and I believe that my reading Lexile level cap has gone up. I think this book also changed me socially because when talking with adults especially ones with high intellect about money and stocks, I can now start and manage conversations with them by discussing options.
Would I recommend this book to anyone?
I would recommend this book to anyone seeking ways to expand their financial portfolio by including options in it. This book is great for anyone that trades stocks/bonds that are not aware of opinions because options are great opportunities for anybody that trades stock because options allow you to have the option to buy stock but not the obligation to follow through, all you have to do is pay a premium, and you can eliminate all the risk (besides the money spent on the premium). I would also recommend this to anyone who wants to expand their conversations and have something interesting to discuss with people because you can talk about options for a while. Most anyone should actually read this book because it provides (experience) information and is just a good tool to add to your financial pocket.
Questions I still have:
I still have a question about this book: what is a good simulation game about options that I can play before actually trading options? This would be very useful information to put inside any future books you might create related to options. Another question I have is will there be another book you create that can act as an updated version of the book since it is currently somewhat dated. Updating it will help younger readers like myself to understand it better because it could be more relevant and in turn relatable to them.
