A book full of grace and truth for a broken world

Paul and Billie live out biblical truth in grace and mercy in Christ and put it into practice in their marriage. Their dedication to God and to each other is evident from the fruit of the Spirit they gleaned in the transformative work of Christ in their lives and will be a wonderful spiritual blessing to any who read.

What the Tsikas went through and how they came out on the other side of it is amazing! It really puts a lot of things into perspective, especially the little things that we, as humans, let get in the way of our relationships. When we focus on healing ourselves, as opposed to fixing the other person, our relationships will improve.

A great read for both husband and wife if you want to learn how to love with grace and forgiveness. Highly recommend this book for married couples, unmarried people who will be married someday, or anyone who can use the contents to help a married couple they know more or will know in the future. :)

Wow such a lovely book. I appreciated the realness of their story. I’m not married yet but I value being prepared. It’s a Christian view point of marriage and how to navigate the struggles that will come. It’s about understanding yourself and growing inside out.

was a bit of a hard read for me. not sure why. good lessons in there mixed between their own relationship story. but this took me forever to finish - never felt compelled to pick the book up.

Paul Tsika is a pastor and so this book is written from a religious / pastoral perspective. For some, that may be difficult to overcome, but if they can, there's a lot of really solid advice and counsel in this book. The last few chapters get into well-entrenched gender roles a little too much, and that's unfortunate because it didn't feel necessary and didn't seem like it was consistent with the rest of the book.

Not perfect, and perhaps not for everyone, but for many, there is a lot of helpful thoughts that could bless their marriage in this one.
