An excellent overview. Best read by at least an intermediate player with knowledge of tactics and general opening principles. Lots of illustrative games. Fairly detailed analysis at points. Even strong players can probably learn some new things about this opening.

Another good overview of the strategic ideas for each of the major variations. Doesn't go very deep into the variations. Ideal as a quick refresher read before playing a Caro-Kann game.

Seems to be missing some of the advance variation lines that I see often, Bayonet/Tal, but in generla a good survey of the C-K.
