Picked this up with a bunch of other devotionals years back. Used it for the first time last year. I didn't expect much of it, and was still disappointed to realize they use the paraphrase The Living Bible for much of it. Certainly it isn't a work of genius -- on July 20 they say that "The story of Joseph is one of the most familiar stories in the Bible" and then promptly get his story wrong (they weirdly conflate the Pharaoh and Potiphar).

Still, while I didn't expect much going in and had another devotional lined up to replace it if necessary, I ended up sticking with this one all year, and on the whole I found it upbeat and reasonably Biblical.

I really enjoyed these small devotionals! I read several a day. Little tidbits of joy for each day and to draw you closer to the Lord

One of my many daily devotionals! This one is written by the authors of God Is in the Small Stuff and it all Matters! Very easy to read and focuses on helping us to see God in the small stuff in our lives.

This book gives you some spiritual things to think about each day. In fact each page is marked as a day off the year. I'm on my second time reading it.
